Home Health Aide
Duties and Responsibilities:
Home health aides usually work for companies that provide in-home assistance to ill, injured, elderly, or disabled customers.  Their duties include taking the blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients.  They help patients get in and out of bed, take baths, and dress.  They also prepare and serve meals as well as perform housekeeping chores like making beds and cleaning rooms.
Average Salary:  $8,000 - $18,000
Educational Requirements:
Most employers prefer that nursing assistants and aides have a high school diploma or GED certificate.  Some vocational schools and community colleges offer training programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Healthcare administrators direct and manage hospitals and other healthcare facilities.  They are responsible for long-range planning, financial administration, personnel administration, materials management, purchasing, public affairs and patient administration.
Small hospitals may have only one administrator, while larger facilities may have many.  Some administrators specialize in specific fields like patient administration or purchasing.

Health care administrators also work in HMOs, health agencies, clinics, or for private practices.

Educational Requirements:
Students should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English.
Most healthcare administrators hold master's degrees in healthcare administration or business administration.

Histology Specialists
Duties and Responsibilities:
Histology Specialists include both Histologic Technicians and Histologists.  Histologists are also referred to as Histotechnologists.  Both histologic technicians and histologists prepare tissue samples that are used by physicians to determine if a patient has a disease, dysfunction, or malignancy.
Histology technicians and histologists prepare samples by using equipment to thinly slice tissue samples.  They then mount the thin slices on microscope slides and use chemicals to stain them so important structures are visible.

Histologists perform more complex and advanced procedures than technicians and often also perform management functions.

Histology specialists work in hospital, veterinary, pharmacy, or research laboratories.

Average Salary:   
$22,000 - $35,000 (Histologic technicians) 
$30,000 - $50,000 (Histologists)
Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English.
To become a histologic technician, students must either earn an associate's degree in the field and complete a one year internship or complete a long-term training program in a histopathology lab.  They must also pass a national examination.

To become a histologist, students must either earn a bachelor's degree that includes a one year clinical internship or complete a long-term training program in a histopathology lab.  They must also pass a national examination.

Reflection: I would not like to do this job because I find this job to be in a way boring.

Health Sciences Librarian

                                                     Duties and Responsibilities:
Health Sciences Librarians and Library Technicians collect and organize medical information and help practitioners find the information they need for patient care, education, research, and administration. 
Librarians select and acquire books, journals, and other library material.  They also establish electronic and digital database information systems.  They organize this information into collections and develop catalogs for access and provide reference assistance to patrons.  They coordinate and control budgets and supervise library technicians. 
Library technicians assist librarians in organizing collections, shelve books, manage circulation desks, answer patrons' questions, and perform administrative duties.
                                                Average Salary:   
                                               $20,000 - $30,000 (Library Technicians) 
                                              $35,000 - $55,000 (Librarians) 
                                              Educational Requirements:
Students should take challenging high school courses in information management, science, math, and English. 
Health sciences library technician training varies by employer.  Some provide on the job training, but all prefer that students complete library technician programs at a community college or technical school.  Associate's degrees can be earned in many of these programs. 
Health Science Librarians should earn an undergraduate degree in one of the life sciences and must earn a master's degree in library science from a program that is accredited by the American Library Association.  Some library science graduate programs offer specialized courses in health science librarianship.
I would like to do this job because I don’t like libraries.

Health Information Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
Health Information Specialists obtain, post, and analyze medical, workload, finance, and insurance data.  They make sure that this information is properly recorded into medical records so practitioners can plan and evaluate health care provided to patients. 
There are a variety of job specialties within this field including Registered Record Administrators, Accredited Record Technicians, and Certified Coding Specialists.  Administrators coordinate the various information management responsibilities and supervise record technicians and coding specialists.  Record technicians ensure medical records are accurate, coordinate reimbursement, and maintain disease registries for research.  Coding specialists assign and post correct diagnosis and procedure codes to records and report codes to insurance companies. 
Health information specialists work in hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, physician offices, and many other medical settings.
Average Salary:  
$20,000 - $25,000 (Coding Specialists)
$23,000 - $30,000 (Record Technicians)
$30,000 - $40,000 (Record Administrators)
Educational Requirements:
Students should take high school courses in business, information management, science, math, and English. 
Coding specialists must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.  Training is usually conducted on the job, but classes are offered at technical schools and community colleges.  To become certified, specialists must pass an examination. 
Accredited record technicians must earn an associate's degree from an accredited college program or from the American Health Information Management Association Independent Study Program.  Additionally, they must pass a credentialing examination. 
Record administrators must complete a bachelor's degree program in the field and pass a certification examination.
No I would not like to have this job because I personally do not like to work with health it just is not my type of field.

Reflection: I believe that this means if you have bad thoughts and start thinking about choosing the wrong then you would become a bad person but if you do the opposite and have good thoughts then you will become a good person. In example if a person has thoughts about not following the rules in class then he will do that and be a bad person but if that student has good thoughts and decides to choose the right then he will be acknowledged for that and be seen as a good person.
Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities:
Health educators provide information on health and health related issues.  They can assess health training needs and plan health education programs.  They may specialize according to specific health concerns, illnesses, or work or training setting.  Health educators may work as independent consultants or in health departments, community organizations, businesses, hospitals, schools, or government agencies.  Health Educators often: 
  • Perform health training needs assessments.
  • Design and develop health education programs.
  • Publish health education materials, information papers, and grant proposals.
  • Develop health education curriculum.
  • Teach health in public and private schools.
Average Salary:  $20,000 - $35,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take college preparatory courses during high school. 
Health educators have, as a minimum, a bachelor's degree in health education.  Many have master's degrees.  To be certified or licensed to teach health in public schools requires a master's degree and successful completion of a written exam in many states.

I would not like to be a health educator because I have problems on educating myself so I don’t think I would do a well job at educating other people.

But if you have good thoughts you would be known for the good things you have done. In example, if a fruit is in bad conditions it will become a bad fruit but if it goes through good conditions it will be a good fruit and worthy for consumption.
Genetic Counselor
Duties and Responsibilities:
Genetic Counselors work with patients and families who have genetic, or inherited, disorders and birth defects.  They also counsel people who are at risk for these problems.  Genetic counselors often: 
  • Educate patients and families about their conditions and how they might best manage their problems.
  • Examine family histories to determine the likelihood of genetic problems.
  • Assist patients and families in reaching decisions about genetic disorders that do not conflict with their religious or ethical values.
  • Educate medical professionals and the general public about genetic disorders.
Salary:  $25,000 - $55,000
Requirements:
Students becoming genetic counselors should take a challenging high school courses that focus on science and mathematics. 
A master's degree is required, and most graduate programs require a strong background in biology, chemistry, and behavioral science.  Many states require genetic counselors to be certified.

I would not like to be a genetic counselor because I find it difficult to explain any issues that might occur later in the future.

In example if you see a person drop money from their pocket but they didn't notice, you will return that money not because you are hoping to get rewarded but because it is the right thing to do.
Epidemiologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Epidemiologists study the frequency and distribution of disease within human populations and environments. Specifically, they measure the incidence of disease occurrence and relate it to different characteristics of populations and environments. Epidemiologists perform research, education, and public health practice in universities, government agencies, international organizations, and private corporations. Epidemiologists offer:
·       Work on developing or refining methods of measuring and evaluating disease occurrences.
·       Develop and recommend public health policy.
·       Study or research chronic diseases, infectious disease, disease outbreaks, injuries, occupations, and environments.
Average Salary: $30,000 - $50,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school courses (including AP or IB courses) available in science, math and English.
Epidemiologists have, as a minimum, master’s degrees in public health. Undergraduate requirements for admissions into public health graduate programs vary by schools but usually include strong backgrounds in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and or statistics.
