Attitude is the way you show your determination on a certain thing. Whether its willing to stay focused in school and do good or drop out and end up in bad situations. A good attitude is when someone goes to school and is friendly to all of his peers and teachers. A bad attitude is someone who will get into a problems with others and not feel any type of guilt for it or even have the respect to apologize.

Dental Technician

The job description for dental technicians includes constructing various appliances such as removable and fixed prosthesis including dentures, bridges, crowns, retention plate’s, post orthodontic braces removal, etc. They generally work directly with the dentist by following detailed written instructions from the dentist or the orthodontist. They use molds as a replica of teeth for construction of crowns, bridges, or false teeth. For creating these prostheses, dental technicians work with different materials like wax, stainless steel, porcelain, as well as with gold and other metals. Nowadays, there is growing popularity for dental technicians to construct prosthesis which are metal free and aesthetic. They require qualities similar to that of a carver, as most of their work involves carving and shaping with tools like drills, presses, lathes, and high heat furnaces for creating each prosthetic device. So basically, the job includes making:
Full and partial dentures for patients who are missing all or some of their teeth
Crowns to restore root canal treated teeth
Veneers to enhance aesthetics and functions
Various orthodontic treatment appliances and splints, to help straighten and protect teeth

Education:

Dental laboratory technicians may receive their education and training through a two-year program at a community college, vocational school, technical college, university or dental school. Graduates of these programs receive either an associate degree or a certificate. There also are a few programs that offer a four-year baccalaureate program in dental technology. In most cases, an interested individual needs a high school diploma or its equivalent to apply to an accredited dental laboratory technology program. Otolaryngologists diagnose and manage diseases of the ears, nose, sinuses, larynx (voice box), mouth, and throat, as well as structures of the neck and face.The ears—Hearing loss affects one in ten North Americans. The unique domain of otolaryngologists is the treatment of ear disorders. They are trained in both the medical and surgical treatment of hearing loss, ear infections, balance disorders, ear noise (tinnitus), and some cranial nerve disorders. Otolaryngologists also manage congenital (birth) disorders of the outer and inner ear.The nose—About 35 million people develop chronic sinusitis each year, making it one of the most common health complaints in America. Care of the nasal cavity and sinuses is one of the primary skills of otolaryngologists. Problems in the nasal area include allergies, smell disorders, polyps, and nasal obstruction due to a deviated septum. Otolaryngologists can also correct the appearance of the nose (rhinoplasty surgery).The throat— Communicating (speech and singing) and eating a meal all involve this vital area.  Specific to otolaryngologists is expertise in managing diseases of the throat, larynx (voice box), and the upper aero-digestive tract or esophagus, including voice and swallowing disorders.The head and neck—This area of the body includes the important functions of sight, smell, hearing, and the appearance of the face. In the head and neck area, otolaryngologists are trained to treat infections, benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) tumors, facial trauma, and deformities of the face. Lincoln Temptations
Lincoln was tempted to drink and smoke with the colonel but he refused to fall for temptations. He was able to refuse because he knew that falling for this was bad. And because he was true to himself and to what he wanted. This shows that no matter how tempting a thing is you shouldn't always try to take it.

Duties
 Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders. A variety of qualitative and quantitative assessment methods are utilized including standardized tests, and other special instruments, in order to analyze and diagnose the nature and extent of speech, language and other impairments.  Treat speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all levels, from infancy to the elderly, utilizing an individualized plan with both long-term goals and short-term goals established for each individual’s needs.  Clinical services may be provided individually or within groups, depending upon the work site and individual’s diagnosis and needs.

Education:

In order to become an SLP, a bachelor’s and master’s degree is required from an accredited university by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. Within each graduate program, students are expected to complete a total of 400 training hours; 25 of which are observation and 375 hours in direct clinical contact. Only upon completion of a graduate program can you then apply for state licensure and begin the process for earning the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). According to ASHA, ASHA Certification is defined as a voluntary credential that verifies an individual's achievement of rigorous, uniform, and validated standards that are nationally recognized.

Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician)
Duties:
The ultrasound technician is responsible for creating images of patients’ internal organs and bones as well as blood vessels for the purpose of detecting abnormalities in the body that put the patients at risk of developing harmful diseases. He gives the ultrasound tests but he also examines them and then discusses the results with patients. Sometimes the technician may devise a treatment plan and refer the patient to another specialist for this treatment.

Education:
Before starting a career in ultrasound technology, completing an education program from an Ultrasound Technician school will be required. Most often the training received will earn an Associate’s degree in the process and will prepare you to participate in certification exams. The training ensures you develop the required knowledge and skills for the job. Ultrasound Technician courses will include coursework anatomy and sciences in addition to training on ultrasound equipment and medical concepts. Also, valuable clinical experience will be gained by training first hand at the school’s partner hospitals alongside other professional ultrasound techs.

   Respiratory Therapy Assistant
Duties:
Respiratory therapy technicians serve people who have trouble breathing, and those with asthma, emphysema, and other cardiopulmonary ailments. Patients also include heart attack and stroke victims, those with lung problems, and people who have nearly drowned .Technicians may be called upon to help with most of the duties of a respiratory therapist. These tasks include conducting pulmonary function tests, and providing oxygen therapy with an ultrasonic nebulizer. Other procedures are intermittent positive-pressure breathing therapy and spirometer treatments. The results of examinations and tests need to be analyzed to determine diagnoses and treatments. Technicians provide drainage treatments, teach patients how to do breathing exercises, and monitor vital signs during therapy sessions. They get medical equipment ready, and test it, for use in examinations and diagnostic procedures. Among the devices are mechanical ventilators, electrocardiograms, aerosol generators, and machines that administer gas therapy.
Education:
In high school, students considering medical careers should take classes in sciences like anatomy, biology, and chemistry. English courses are also helpful. Hospitals and clinics frequently hire respiratory therapy technicians who are enrolled in degree programs in the field. It is possible to get a job as early as the freshman year, though employers tend to prefer seniors. Technical schools, community colleges, and hospitals offer a 1 to 2 year training program in respiratory therapy. They feature courses in pulmonary rehabilitation, pulmonary function testing, respiratory care, airway management, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. In addition to classes, students take part in clinical practicums. Most employers require one to possess at least an associate’s degree.
