Lincoln Temptations

Lincoln was tempted to drink and smoke with the colonel but he refused to fall for temptations. He was able to refuse because he knew that falling for this was bad. And because he was true to himself and to what he wanted. This shows that no matter how tempting a thing is you shouldn't always try to take it.
